Dr. Roland Adjovi (Benin)
Dr. Adjovi is an international law expert from Bénin, in West Africa. He has worked in criminal courts (UNICTR, ICC and EAC Habré) and provided trainings to judges across Africa, especially in Rwanda, Bénin, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo. He has also developed an extensive expertise in human rights in Africa, leading the case of Rev. Mtikila before the African Court for the first judgment on the merits discussing the right of independent candidates at presidential elections. He has taught both international law and African politics mainly in France, Mali, Tanzania and United States of America for the last 20+ years.
