Alphonse Hardel is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Reuters. He is responsible for defining and implementing the overall strategic direction of Reuters, developing strategic partnerships and fostering growth opportunities that align with Reuters core mission.

Alphonse has over 15 years of experience in the media industry, spanning roles in sales, product management and business development. He specializes in establishing partnerships with technology and media companies across the globe, commercially advancing fact-based journalism.  Alphonse holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and a Master in European Business from ESCP Europe.
