Darius Lau (Mexico)
Darius Lau is a designer, engineer and entrepreneur from Guadalajara, Mexico.
He majored in Industrial Design from Tecnologíco de Monterrey where led the Rhinnovation team that won the Cisco iPrize. In 2011 he graduted from the Graduate Studies Program from Singularity University at NASA.
In 2012 he co-founded Catalyst Project Lab, an R & D company that markets its own products across different industries. He has over a decade of experience building and scaling technology products internationally.
He helps lead two nonprofits: MakersGDL a community driven nonprofit that promotes maker skills; and HackerGarage, one of Mexico’s most prominent hackerspaces.
