The EOS Tech Trust worked in close partnership with BIRN on the implementation of the project “Society Against Corruption in Montenegro,“ as part of a grant from the U.S Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL). EOS led the re-adjustment and development of an interactive digital software tool designed to facilitate citizens’ reporting corruption. The software platform, called the Engaged Citizens Reporting tool (ECR), empowers local media outlets to directly solicit corruption reporting from citizens through questionnaires embedded directly into a variety of media websites. ECR aggregates incoming data into an actionable analytics suite, and operates in local languages as well as in English.
